Dr. Rong Fu got her B.S. of Physics and Atmospheric Dynamics at Beijing University and finished her Ph.D. of Atmospheric Sciences in Columbia University; she is now working in School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences of Georgia Institute of Technology. As an outstanding scientist in the field of Land-Ocean-Atmosphere research, Dr. Fu reviewed the most important developments in the area and gave her incisive perspective in anthropogenic land use impact on climate change. Her excellent presentation impressed every participant deeply.
