Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Positions in Land-Atmospheric Interaction

The School of Geography and the State Key Laboratory of Earth Surface Processes and Resources Ecology at the Beijing Normal University invite applicants to apply for 3 research scientists and 3 postdoctoral positions in the area of land-atmosphere interaction. We seek highly motivated individuals who are willing to take an active role in promoting research, education, and interdisciplinary interactions. Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. and an established or emerging research program of international prominence. We are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in: a) land surface processes parameterization; b) coupling the land scheme with the atmospheric models at the mesoscale and regional climate modelling; c) land data assimilation; d) dynamic vegetation and biogeochemical processes model development.
